Michael Mayhew

Michael Mayhew

Michael Mayhew is a fictional character in the Honorverse, a series of military science fiction novels written by David Weber.

Michael Mayhew is the much younger brother of Benjamin Mayhew IX, Protector of Grayson. Until the arrival of Benjamin's son, Bernard Raoul, Michael was heir to the Protectorship, a position he did not want, and also Steadholder Mayhew.

After the formal treaty of alliance between the Protectorate of Grayson and the Star Kingdom of Manticore, Michael pursued graduate studies at King's College on Manticore. It is unclear precisely what he studied or if he completed his graduate degree, but it is mentioned that he works with Manticore's BuShips on the design for the Medusa class.
