Miwa, Kyoto

Miwa (三和町 Miwa-chō?) was a town located in Amata District, Kyoto, Japan.

On January 1, 2006 Miwa, along with the town of Yakuno, also from Amata District, and the town of Ōe, from Kasa District, was merged into the expanded city of Fukuchiyama.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,313 and a density of 47.64 persons per km2. The total area was 90.53 square kilometres (34.95 sq mi).
