_gd. BBC Alba (or BBC Gàidhlig) is the Scottish Gaelic name for Scotland's national broadcaster, BBC Scotland and the name is generally used to describe the Scottish Gaelic services of the BBC.

Some of "BBC Alba's" more notable programming includes the international issues magazine _gd. "Eòrpa" ("Europe"), children's programme _gd. "Dè a-nis?" ("What Now?") and comedy sketch show _gd. "Air ais air an Ràn Dàn" ("Back on the Ran Dan").

"BBC Alba" are responsible for the national Scottish Gaelic radio station BBC Radio nan Gàidheal. BBC Alba is also responsible for the Gaelic-language television channel, also called BBC Alba [cite web |url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/news/press_releases/2007/gaelic_digital_service.html|title=BBC Alba Channel|accessdate=2007-07-31 |format= |work=www.bbc.co.uk ] .
