Thomas Jay Ryan (b. August 1 1962, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a veteran stage actor [cite web |url=http://www.sdreader.com/php/mvdisplay.php?&id=HENRYFOO |title=Henry Fool |accessdate=2007-05-18 |author=Duncan Shepherd |year=1998 |publisher="San Diego Reader"] who also starred in the 1997 film "Henry Fool".

Ryan attended Carnegie Mellon University and has worked in such prestigious theaters as the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven. In addition, he has worked with avante-garde playwright Richard Foreman and has played roles ranging from Dracula to Degas.
