Ujigami Shrine

Nihongo|Ujigami Shrine|宇治上神社|ujigami jinja is a Shinto shrine in the city of Uji in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. In 1994, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as one of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto".

Ujigami Shrine is considered be the oldest original Shinto shrine architecture built around 1060 by dendrochronology, and supposed to close relation of construction of Byōdō-in in 1052.
