] is a former professional baseball player who played catcher in the Major Leagues for 3 years. He played for the Oakland Athletics in by|1986 and for the San Francisco Giants from by|1989by|1990.

In his MLB career, Bathe had 8 home runs, 29 RBIs, and had a career batting average of .213. He played for the Giants when they reached the 1989 World Series against Oakland. He also played for the Nippon Ham Fighters in by|1991 and by|1992.
