"Breakfast with Frost" was a talk show hosted by Sir David Frost on the BBC on Sunday mornings. The news presenter was Moira Stuart. The show ran for more than 12 years and exactly 500 editions between 3 January, 1993 and 29 May, 2005.

The final programme

A special edition (the final programme) was presented by usual presenter David Frost on 29 May 2005.

At first, David made an introduction of what will be happening on this special edition.

After that, he went to Moira Stuart for the news.

After that, David introduced the final newspaper reviewers, Nigella Lawson, Gyles Brandreth and Carol Vorderman. Carol was the show's 1000th people reviewer. The newspaper reviewers reviewed that day's news.

After that, David held a competition, to win his chair, and three red cushions; the winners are listed below:

* Sir David Frost's chair: P F Law, Northallerton
* The three cushions:
** The Resident ("no name specified"), Abergavenny
** Jim Howley, Redhill, Surrey
** Mrs P M Reeve, Kenilworth

After that, David went to Rory Bremner for some comedy.

After that, David went to Helen Young for the weather.

After that, David interviewed Sir John Major and Lord Kinnock about the 1992 general election. John was interviewed in Norwich, and Lord Kinnock was interviewed in the studio.

After that, David interviewed Desmond Tutu in New York City about the events going on in South Africa.

After that, Moira presented David with a selection of thoughts from people who were aware that this was the 500th "Breakfast with Frost".

David then talked about what will be going on in the summer.

The programme ended with Willard White singing, with David's former colleague from TW3, Carl Davis, conducting.
