"Surfing the Himalayas" (ISBN 0-9642196-5-4, ISBN 0-312-14147-5, ISBN 0-312-15217-5) was written by Rama, Dr. Frederick Lenz and published in 1994 and reprinted in 1995 and 1997. The book is a fictional account of the author's adventures snowboarding in the himalayas and his meeting with a Buddhist teacher. The book was a best seller.
