South Korea national football team (95 matches/24 goals) and was a participant at the1994 FIFA World Cup and at the1998 FIFA World Cup . He played only against Mexico during Korea's first match at France 98, on a game which he scored the opener for Korea and was sent off on second time for a sliding tackle from behind. He was suspended for two games and did not play furthermore, as Korea failed to qualify.Clubs
