- Jon Sundvold
Jon Thomas "Sunny" Sundvold (born
July 2, 1961in Sioux Falls, South Dakota) is an American former professional basketballplayer who was selected by the Seattle SuperSonicsin the 1st round (16th overall) of the 1983 NBA Draft. A 6'2" shooting guard from the University of Missouri, Sundvold played in 9 NBA seasons from 1983–1992. He played for the Sonics, San Antonio Spursand Miami Heat.
Sundvold's best year as a professional came during the 1986-87 season as a member of the Spurs, appearing in 76 games and averaging 11.2 ppg. In his NBA career, he appeared in 502 games and scored a total of 3,886 points. Two seasons later, he played more of a bench role but led all of the NBA in three point shooting percentage. He also participated in the NBA All Star
Three Point Contestin 1989 and 1990.
He played for the US national team in the

He is also an honorary member of the
Lambda Chi AlphaFraternity and was initiated to the Gamma-Kappachapter at the University of Missourion April 14, 2006.
Currently, he works as a color commentator for
ESPN Plusin their television coverage of select Big 12men's basketball games.
