- Festspiel Baden-Baden
The "Festspiel Baden-Baden" (Baden-Baden Festival) is a series of festivals presented by the
Festspielhaus Baden-Baden inBaden-Baden ,Germany . The programme is structured around four annual festival periods dispersed throughout the year. The Whitsun, Summer, Autumn and Winter Festivals each incorporate at least one opera production and several classical concerts.The Summer 2006 Festival included a production of Wagner's
Ring Cycle , while the coming year contained:
* Autumn Festival from 3 to 9 October 2006, with a production of "Don Giovanni ".
* Winter Festival from 15 to 21 January 2007, with productions of "Turandot ", "Madama Butterfly ", and "La Bohème ".
* Herbert von Karajan Whitsun Festival from 25 May to 3 June 2007, with a production of "Falstaff "
* Summer Festival from 6 to 13 July 2007, with a production of "Tosca ".Major opera productions at Festspielhaus Baden-Baden to date include "
