Falam is a town in north-west Myanmar near the eastern Indian provincial border of Mizoram. The town was originally founded by the British in 1892, and became an important place for the British government to rule the whole Chin Hills at that time. It was the capital city of Chin State until the administrative offices was moved to Hakha. Falam is the headquarters of several important orgainizations. The Zomi Baptist Convention (ZBC) has its head office in Falam.

Falam, like many cities in highland Myanmar, is currently virtually inaccessible to foreign visitors due to the restrictions on travel imposed by the Myanmar government.cite web |url=http://wikitravel.org/en/Myanmar |title=Myanmar |publisher=WikiTravel.org |accessdate=2008-01-21]
