Hisham ibn al-A'as

Hisham ibn al-A'as ( _ar. هشام بن الأعس) is the son of A'as ibn Wa'il and brother of Amr ibn al-A'as.

He freed 50 slaves on the account of his fathers will. [see Sunan Abu Dawud [http://www.searchtruth.com/book_display.php?book=17&translator=3 2877] ]

He was killed in the Battle of Yarmouk in the year 13 AH (635 CE) [ [http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=391 Article: The Honesty at Yarmouk - sunniforum.com ] ] .
