"Over the Mountain" is the opening track of heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne's album Diary of a Madman. It's one of Osbourne's most well known songs, and easily recognized by its drum introduction. This song has been released on several compilation albums. It peaked at 13 on Mainstream Rock Tracks. The song was covered by a variety of later metal and alternative bands, most notably alternative band is The Word Alive.
