List of Non-resident Indians

Non Resident Indians (NRIs) are people who hold an Indian citizenship legally, but do not live in India. Therefore, this list does not include individuals of Indian origin who are legal citizens of a foreign or their current resident country through naturalization.[citation needed]

  • Dr.Balaji Sadasivan, Junior Minister.
  • J. B. Jeyaretnam, former opposition leader, and the first person to break the PAP monopoly in parliament in 1984. A former magistrate.
