Joseph G. McDonald

Joe McDonald (born in Lackawanna, New York on March 28, 1970) is a professional American sportswriter, who is the Managing Editor of New York Sportscene magazine [cite web | title = Contact Us :: NY Sportscene | date = 2008 | url = http://www.nysportscene.com/contact.php | publisher = NY Sportscene Magazine | accessdate = 2008-03-25] and also covers the New York Mets, New York Yankees, New York Rangers and U.S. Open (tennis) for various publications in the New York area.

Joe is also the current curator of the Mets Online Forum, as part of his New York Sports Day website.

McDonald is also a contributor to the SportsNet New York television show, Mets Weekly.

Raised in Brooklyn, New York, he is a graduate of Xaverian High School and Fordham University.
