First the company was started from the young men about sailing boat chartering and just after years the company developed to today's large luxury yacht building industry. First the work started with the ship-yard of Amerglass, a modern Dutch shipyard producing boats in fibreglass. This was the first contract for the company founded by Paolo Vitelli. The business developed quickly, adding the distribution of sailing boats, motorcruisers and finally motoryachts from different makers: British Powles, Westerly, and others. And through years the company of Azimut became the most known name in yacht building and brand of all luxury and most beautiful yachts. The company now owns Benetti, another luxury ship building company.

Azimut Yacht models

The company of Azimut offers to all the clients a large number of different luxury yachts with specifications, which can be enough good for every one businessman of the world. All the models are with so large range of length and capacity, starting from 39 feet to reach the amazing lrge super yachts of 116 feet.The model "Azimut 39E" is the smallest motor boat of the portfolio of the company. The yacht is beautiful and very good for water sports and diving. The length is convert|39|ft|m|abbr=on and the beam is convert|13|ft|m|abbr=on. The small yacht has a pretty strong and fast engine Cummins QSB 5.9, which is giving a full power of 2 x 261 kW, which is enought for the yacht to realize speed of 30 knots maximum (27 knots cruising speed). The yacht is with fly bridge, which is comfortable for sailing on short distances and in hot summer days.If you prefer large yachts better for long distances, large companies and good parties, the model "Azimut 75" will be very comfortable for you and your friends. This is middle size yacht with length of convert|75|ft|m|abbr=on and a beam of convert|18|ft|m|abbr=on. The yacht has a capacity for 10 people, divided into 5 cabins. The engine is giving a 30 knots maximum speed and the producer of it is MAN V12 Common Rail. This is strong engine used in many cars and crossovers.And the largest model, which is offered by Azimut is "Azimut 116". This is large yacht with very luxury design and interior. The length of the yacht is convert|116|ft|m|abbr=on and the beam is convert|24|ft|m|abbr=on. You will be happy if you have a chance to see this yachts and to make a voyage with it. This is one very nice and absolutely beautiful designed small cruise ship. The capacity of the yacht is about 12 people, divided into 6 cabins. You can image, how much free space there is on board and this is the most important thing, when we are talking like such yachts.Other models of the Azimut company are Fly Bridge: 39E, 43, 46, 47, 50, 55E, 62E, 68, 75, 85, 98, 116 and Sports: 43s, 62s, 68s, 86s, 103s.

Azimut Ship Yards

the heaquarter of the Azimut Yachts empire is Avigliana. There on the place of 100.000 sqm is situated the financial department, and yacht building factory of Azimut. The Covered area is 44.000 sqm. This allows to the company to have a production rate of 300 boats per yaer, which is amazing number for the all ship-yards of the world. But here in the head office can be built only yacht with length to 68 feet, because of the inshore situation of the yard and facilities, which it is equipped with. In spite of this the larger yachts are ordered in some of the ship-yards of the world, which are working with larger facilities and machines, and for them one 100 feet yacht is like a toy.

Azimut Boat Leasing

The company of Azimut was established for boat chartering, so today the favourite part of the work in the company of the Presindet of Azimut Yachts Paolo Vitelli is financial and leasing of boats. The company is specialized in this part of yacht sailing so this developed the yacht market very quickly and allows to the people from European Union to have a chance to own Azimut Yacht with leasing from VAT.
