Barron Incident

On June 1, 2007 while reporting on location at gathering protesting the shut down of RCTV in Venezuela on Your World With Neil Cavuto he blew up at New York City Councilman (and former Black Panther) Charles Barron, a Hugo Chavez supporter, at one point calling him a "son of a bitch" over accusations that Housley was exaggerating the level of opposition to Chavez.

[ [http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/fnc/fncs_housley_calls_guest_son_of_a_bitch_60170.asp mediabistro.com: TVNewser ] ] BARRON: That was a real democratic sampling of the Venezuelan population. He's down there with one little group--

CAVUTO: Well count those people. You're a smart guy, can you count those people?

BARRON: Count the people, yeah, right--

CAVUTO: I see more than two or three!

HOUSLEY: I just came from the chavista rally! Tell him I just came from the chavista rally! You tell that son of a bitch I just came from the chavista rally!

BARRON: ...Talk to some of the millions that support Hugo Chavez!

HOUSLEY: I have, I just came from there. I just came from there.

BARRON: What kind of journalism is that, when you talk to one--?

HOUSLEY: I just came from there. I just came from there.
