"Note that this list does not include place names whose only alteration is that the ending -as has been appended to the local name (e.g. Dublinas for Dublin), or names which have, in accordance with common Lithuanian language practice, been transcribed to fit Lithuanian pronounciaton, e.g. "Zalcburgas" for Salzburg."
