Sant Bhasha

Sant Bhasha (unicode|Sant Bhāṣā) is a scriptural language related to both Punjabi and Hindi and used extensively across medieval northern India by proponents of popular devotional religion. Sant bhasha contains words from Sanskrit, Prakrit, Apabhramsha, Persian and Arabic. It is used in texts such as the Sikh holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib.
