Silk Road Theatre Project

The Silk Road Theatre Project is a production unit located in Downtown Chicago which presents plays written by individuals of Asian and Arab descent.

The professional theatre is located in the modern basement of the Chicago Temple Building, 77 Washington Street, directly across from the Richard J. Daley Center.

The Project is unaffiliated with the Methodist Church above and maintains a secular relationship.

Productions in 2007 include David Henry Hwang's "Golden Child", and "Merchant on Venice" by Shishir Kurup.
