Kage can be:
* a former nickname used by famous J-rock & J-pop singer, Hironobu Kageyama.
* a recursive acronym of KAGE: Alternative Game Engine.
* a reference to a being from what some religions call "Dawn-Time".
* Japanese for "shadow" written in rōmaji. This is used in:
** the main character in the "Virtua Fighter series" of video games; see Kage-Maru.
** the Japanese release title for the video game Shadow of the Ninja.
** the name of a ninja in the PlayStation game Suikoden.
** a rank of ninjas in the popular manga and anime "Naruto"; see Kage.
** a type of creature in the series "Blue dragon Ral grado"

* also the Danish word for "cake".
