Young BNP

The Young BNP is a nationalistic youth movement in Great Britain, it is a department of the British National Party for youth BNP supporters and falls under the arm of the British Nationalist Youth Movement with other groups such as BNP students.

Leadership

*Mark Collett was leader until 2002.
*Danny Lake Led the Young BNP until 2007.
*Mike Howson replaced Lake on 19 January 2008.

Activities

Lake and former YBNP Secretary Mark Wain considerably expanded the online activities of the YBNP, setting up an "official looking" BNP group on Facebook. The Young BNP also has a presence on MySpace, Bebo and other similar sites.

History

The Young BNP started out as a department of the the British National Party (BNP). The YBNP is regarded as a fascist organisation [Renton, D "Fascism theory & practice" (London, 1999)] , an allegation strongly rejected by the BNP and the YNP.
