Antonio Notario Caro, Notario (born November 19, 1972 in Mataró, Barcelona), is a Spanish footballer, currently with Celta de Vigo of the Spanish "Segunda División". His position is goalkeeper.

Football career

During his career, Barcelona-born Notario spend most of his career with Andalusia clubs. He represented Granada CF (two stints), Valencia's B team, Real Murcia (two stints), Polideportivo Almería, Guadix CD and Sevilla FC (where he had his most successful years, being promoted to the first division in 2001, and retaining first-choice status until 2005-06, with the arrival of Andrés Palop relegating him to the subs bench. He would, however, appear in 8 contests in the side's UEFA Cup conquest).

In 2006-07, Notario achieved once again first level promotion, this time with Real Murcia. He was the starter for most of the season, until new boss Javier Clemente promoted Uruguayan Fabián Carini to the starting XI, with Murcia being nonetheless relegated.

In August 2008, Notario joined second division's Real Club Celta de Vigo.
