Robinson most influential work was "Africa and the Victorians. The Official Mind of Imperialism" [Robinson, Ronald and Gallagher, John, with Denny, Alice, "Africa and the Victorians. The Official Mind of Imperialism", Londres and Basingstoke, Macmillan, 1981 (2nd paperback edition)]
