Rajanpur District is a district of Punjab province in Pakistan. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan it had a population of 1,103,618 of which 14.27% were urban [ [http://www.urckarachi.org/Population%20Table-5.htm 1998 Census figures - Urban Resource Centre] ] .

Administration

Demographics

The district together with Dera Ghazi Khan are the only two districs of the punjab located west of the Indus river. As with Dera Ghazi Khan District, the majority of the population are ethnic Baluchis.
