"Thunder Kiss '65" is the first and only official single off the album ' by White Zombie. The song can also be found on Rob Zombie's Past, Present & Future and the greatest hits album . The audio samples "You're all shook up, aren't you baby?" and "I never try anything I just do it. Wanna try me?" are taken from the 1965 movie "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!". Extreme Championship Wrestling used the song as theme music for their syndicated show in the 1990s and also as entrance music for one of their most popular tag teams, The Pitbulls. The popularity of the single resulted in White Zombie's first Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance in 1993. The song later appeared in the horror film "Bride of Chucky" in 1998 and then again in the action film ' in 2003. In May 2006, the song was ranked #32 on VH1's list, '40 Greatest Metal Songs'. ["VH1 40 Greatest Metal Songs", 1-4 May 2006, "VH1" Channel, reported by [http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/the_greatest/103446/episode_this_list.jhtml VH1.com] ; last accessed September 10, 2006.] .

The song has been covered by popular acts such as Godsmack during a live performance and Fear Factory in a medley of cover songs. Also, Thunder Kiss '65 was recorded by Catch 22 for the White Zombie tribute album "Super-Charger Hell" in 2000. The 2005 video game "Guitar Hero" for the Playstation 2 features a cover of the song as well. The song was also used in the 2007 comedy movie Wild Hogs
