Eugene Washington

Eugene Washington (born August 7, 1978) is a British actor of stage, film and television born in Hammersmith, London, England, UK.

He appeared in the 2006 season of "Doctor Who" in an episode entitled "School Reunion", playing an unusually frightening maths teacher named Mr Wagner.

He was in the cast for the world premiere of Howard Brenton's play "Paul" at the Royal National Theatre. Other stage work includes "Powerless" at the Barons Court Theatre and the title role in "Othello" for Oddsocks.

In January 2007, Washington was cast in the Bill Kenwright touring production of Agatha Christie's "The Unexpected Guest", as Henry Angell, alongside "Casualty's" Simon MacCorkindale and "EastEnders"' Dean Gaffney, making him the first black actor to star in a professional Agatha Christie play in the UK.
