Johnson College

Johnson College is a private, coeducational two-year college located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Johnson College was founded in 1918 as a trade school by Orlando S. Johnson, a wealthy coal baron. Over the years it has evolved to college status. The average student to faculty ratio is 17:1 allowing for a more personalized learning environment.

On the 65 acre campus are classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, and student housing units. A library, clinic, cafeteria, student center, exercise room, and gymnasium are facilities provided to compliment the students' college experience. [http://www.johnson.edu]

It bears the distinction of having the lowest range of SAT scores of any college, as reported by the Collegeboard, with a 25th-75th percentile range of 350-370 for the Verbal subsection out of a maximum score of 800 and 300-350 range for the Math subsection out of a maximum score of 800. Johnson College competes in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. They offer Men's Basketball, and co-ed Golf, Cross Country, and Bowling.
