List of Lizzie McGuire episodes

The following is a list of episodes of Lizzie McGuire a television comedy series that was broadcast on the Disney Channel, an American satellite and cable network aimed at children. The series originally aired from January 12, 2001 to February 14, 2004. The show was created by Terri Minsky and produced by Stan Rogow. The show's target demographic was preteen and adolescents, and was a ratings hit, drawing in 2.3 million viewers per episode.^[1] Production was completed in 2002 after the show fulfilled its 65 episode order. The success of the television series led Disney Channel to produce a feature film spin-off based on the show, titled The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

The series stars Hilary Duff as Lizzie McGuire, who is an ordinary teenager dealing with issues confronted by adoloscents in their daily life. A unique feature of the show is that her thoughts and emotions are expressed by her sarcastic animated alter ego.^[2] Lalaine and Adam Lamberg play the roles of Miranda and Gordo, who are Lizzie's best friends. Other co-stars include Jake Thomas, Hallie Todd and Robert Carradine as Matt, Jo and Sam McGuire respectively. On November 23, 2004, the first twenty-two episodes of the show were released in a DVD box set in the United States.^[3][4]

Meanwhile, Matt needs only one baseball card to complete his card collection but only Melina has it. Melina agrees to give the card to Matt, but only if he does her homework and other chores for her.

Lizzie wants to put an elaborate float together for an upcoming Christmas parade. She needs and gets help building it from Gordo. However she has stiff competition from Kate and her cousin Amy, who have their float built by professionals, and Larry Tudgeman who's building a Star Wars-themed Christmas float. To make matters worse, her efforts to build the float are compromised by Nobby, who really apparently thinks he is one of Santa's elves. Nobby usually spends time at a senior citizens home, which had a plumbing problem, and the McGuires & Gordo offer to help fix it. However, the process of doing so gets in the way of Lizzie's ability to finish her float. Lizzie falls asleep, and has a dream where she's visited by Nobby Frostybump, and then family members and friends posing as Christmas legends in order to try to show Lizzie the true meaning of Christmas. When she wakes up, Lizzie forgoes building the float to help Nobby, and remains content with herself. Note: Chronologically, this is the final episode of the series, followed by The Lizzie McGuire Movie, which closed the story lines of the Lizzie McGuire franchise. However, this episode (along with several others) did not air in the correct order they were supposed to and Lalaine only appears in flashback episodes.

Lizzie, Miranda and Gordo meet a boy and a girl respectively at the cafe, and arrange a date at the mall, but Lizzie's parents won't let them go, so they feign illness to go on the date.

The gym teacher, Coach Kelly, reassures her, and also reveals that Ethan calls everybody a "dude". Unknown to Matt, Fredo the chimp completes his math homework, which gets him good grades in school and praise from his parents.

Kate sees Lizzie, Miranda, and Gordo at the audience of a kiddie TV program called Clover and Daisy's Magic Train, and teases them about it (in school). Note: Although this is the last new episode of the series to air on Disney Channel, this is not the series finale. The actual series finale, "Bye Bye Hillridge Junior High" aired a year before this episode.
