Ansatsuken

is a Japanese neologism used to refer to any martial art developed for assassination. The term "ansatsuken" is used frequently in popular Japanese fiction.

Examples

*Hokuto Shinken from the "Fist of the North Star" franchise. The term ansatsuken has also been applied as well to other fighting styles in the series, particularly Nanto Seiken, Gento Kōken and Hokuto Ryūken (see "list of fighting styles in Fist of the North Star").
* Hangetsuken (Half-Moon Fist) , Sentōken (Whirling Blade Fist) and Ryūsōken (Dragon Fang Fist), the styles used by the three sons of Zekū in "Ironfist Chinmi".
