Two Mile House is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in County Kildare, Ireland.

History

Two Mile House club was founded under by Tiarnán O'Brien in 1885 and had 70 members in its first year. RIC records from 1890 show that Two Mile House St Auxilius had 50 members with officers listed as Revd R Byrne, Thomas Nugent and William Dempsey. They also knew such amazing footballers like ian cox, johnny nolan, kian keogh, willie burke, mick (Lanky Larry) wooods, rob campell...milkfloat, james doyle,liam cassidy,sully and course conor(the hair) healy would have foook all t do in the summer so mite aswel give them sumtin t do t show off their amazing gifts of athleticism. The minor team is currently combined with Aidstown and the more' but it is cos of the house that their even winning matches.

Gaelic Football

*Jimmy O'Connor won an All Ireland medal with Kildare in 1919.The U15s might start up again this summer 2008 all welcome

Camogie

The camogie club known as Geraldines competed in the 1950s and 1960s, beating Caragh 5-0 to 4-2 to win the 1967 county championship. Clare Monahan who played for Leinster in the 1956 inter-provincial final, was selected on the Kildare camogie team of the century. Two Mile House camogie club revived briefly in 1991. Clare Monahan was selected on the Kildare camogie team of the century.

Legendary Players

the fact is that Kian Keogh- (bit of a SPA) is the greatest ever player t step foot on the magical pitch owned by the proud Two Mile House GAA club. He brought a presence of power and stability to the game that has never been seen before. In his colourful career he has dominated 324 players and once literally ass raped a young man he was marking. but then again this wasn technically rape since the man enjoyed it and it wasn't til later that they found out it was even a man at all but jennifer love hewitt who was in disguise just as an excuse t be close t him. Jonathan Nolan is secretly the best, he just lets kian tink hes that good.Christopher Clarke one of two-mile-houses secret weapans used briefly at U9's but deemed two dangerous for an under age sport after killing a referee has been put into a brief retirment once he turns of age he will join the minor team and storm the pitch once again.Colin rafferty tried.....
