Ambika Chakrobarty

Ambika Chakrabarty (Bangla: অম্বিকা চক্রবর্তী) was an Bengali Indian freedom fighter and revolutionary.

Revolutionary activities

Ambika was a member of Chittagong Jugantar party.He took part in the Chittagong armoury raid.He was arrested by the police and was sentenced to death.However, the sentence was later changed to transportation for life to the Cellular Jail in Andaman.

Later activities

He later became a member of West Bengal Rajya Sabha in 1952.
