Kumar ( _ta. , (Sanskrit: . In Hinduism (meaning child, (child of) Skanda) the God of War. Is a title, given name or family name. As a name it can also be used as: Kumara, Kumari, Kumaru and Kumaran. Kumar is a caste that is more common with Sri Lankan. It also refers to Skanda the God of War.
