Northern Austro-Bavarian

Northern Austro-Bavarian

Northern Austro-Bavarian is a dialect of German, mostly spoken in the Upper Palatinate. Its most prominent characteristics are the reversed diphthongs (gestuerzte Dipthonge). It is the northern branch of Austro-Bavarian.
