"Addicted" is is the sixth studio album of Sweetbox and the the fifths studio album with Jade Villalon as frontwoman. It was released on March 1 2006 in Japan. The first press edition included a cardboard slipcase. In Japan the album sold over 100,000 copies and reached the Gold Status. The Korean version of the album includes a bonus DVD featuring five live performances.

This album was originally going to be titled "Bold & Delicious", but has been rumoured to have changed to avoid confusion with Ayumi Hamasaki's Japanese version of the same song. GEO of Sweetbox composed 6 songs on (miss)understood (Ayumi's album) originally for themselves and for the lead singer Jade Villalon to sing. However, Ayumi had bought a number of Sweetbox's Greatest Hits album and fell in love with their music so much that she wanted to use the songs on her own album. GEO agreed to let Ayumi use the following songs:

Bold & Delicious, Ladies Night, Pride, Beautiful Girl (Ayu's version is called "Beautiful Day") and Every Step (Ayu's version is called "rainy day") GEO also gave her permission to use an older Sweetbox demo, In The Corner, featured on their Raw Treasures Volume 1: 2000 - 2005 album.

However, these songs are not classed as covers because Ayumi only used the composition of the song and created her own lyrics around them. "Addicted" is similar in tone to Jade's older album Classified, with upbeat music and lyrics. The album features songs based upon various orchestral pieces, as the song for the single, Addicted, samples from "Vivaldi".

The song "Happy Tears" was originally written for the "Classified" album.

Addicted sold 121,397 copies and became the 111th best selling album of 2006.
