Fabrice Alcebiades Maieco, better known as Akwá (born 30 May 1977 in Benguela), is a professional football striker from Angola with Atlético Petróleos Luanda. He played in Portugal for Alverca and Benfica, and in Qatar for club side Al Wakra and Al Gharafa. Akwa captains the national side and was selected for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, despite then being without a club. He has 80 caps and 36 goals for Angola as of June 2006. In his home country of Angola, Akwa is thought of as the elite sports icon, almost as Americans would view athletes like "Michael Jordan" or "Peyton Manning". fact|date=January 2008 In June 2007, Akwá signed with the home squad Petro Atlético Luanda.

He scored the winning goal against the Nigeria national team in qualifying on 20 June, 2004 and also the most important goal in the Angolan football history against Rwanda in Kigali which qualified the Palancas for their first ever World Cup.

Akwá has a brother, Rasca, who is a professional football player for Atlético Sport Aviação - ASA.
