Satakunta (constituency)

Satakunta (formerly Turku Province North) is a constituency represented in the Finnish "Eduskunta" (parliament). It covers the administrative region of Satakunta, with a population of 235,416 (as of 2002). Satakunta currently elects nine members of the "Eduskunta".

The constituency is largely rural, and the largest cities are Pori and Rauma. The largest parties in the parliamentary elections are the Social Democratic Party of Finland and the Centre Party.
