Hamilton is a railway station located in Hamilton, a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The station is an interchange between CityRail Newcastle & Central Coast line and Hunter line services. Platforms/Services

The station has two side platforms, six carriages long. Passengers on longer trains are required to use the rear six carriages.

*Newcastle and Central Coast line colour>Newcastle & Central Coast Line - intercity services to Newcastle.
*Hunter line colour>Hunter Line - regional services to Newcastle.

Platform 2:
*Newcastle and Central Coast line colour>Newcastle & Central Coast Line - intercity services to Morisset and Central (via Strathfield).
*Hunter line colour>Hunter Line - regional all stations and limited stops services to Maitland, Telarah, Dungog, Muswellbrook and Scone.
