Budget problems

The Shore Regional school district has been hit with budget problems in the recent years. The budget for the 2006-2007 school year failed to pass after it was turned down by two of the sending districts. The proposed budget included extensive renovations of the building, sports fields, and expansion of the school's parking lot. The school also refuses to approve spending for the high school music program on an annual basis.

Over the past school year, Shore Regional High School has had a number of bomb scares. In an incident that occurred on October 27, 2006, a report was received that the word "BOMB" and "10:30" had been written on a boys bathroom wall.
