Benito Garozzo

Benito Garozzo (born September 5, 1927 in Naples, Italy) is one of the most famous bridge players in the history of the game. He has won 13 world championship titles with the Italian Blue Team, playing with Pietro Forquet and later Giorgio Belladonna. Garozzo created the Blue Club bidding system, and devised an advanced version of Precision Club, called "Super-precision." Garozzo became a United States citizen in January 1994.
