Professional Pilots Rumour Network

Professional Pilots Rumour Network

The Professional Pilots Rumour Network, or PPRuNe, is an Internet forum catering to airline pilots and others in the aviation industry. The site was originally started by Danny Fyne and later on assisted by Robin Lloyd, as a "rumour exchange" for airline pilots.

PPRuNe is known in European and English Speaking Pilot circles and is occasionally cited by media in reports relating to aviation.

The site was sold by Danny to InternetBrands [http://www.internetbrands.com/ib/] in late 2007, reputedly for US $1.45 million.

There is a spoof site [http://www.pproon.com] that copies the layout of PPRuNe.
