Achiltibuie (Scottish Gaelic: Aichillidh Bhuidhe) is a long
linear villagein Ross and Cromarty, Highland, on the Coigachcoast of northwestern Scotland, overlooking Loch Broomand the Summer Isleswhich lie to the west. Located 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Ullapool, Achiltibuie is home to the Hydroponicum, a garden where plants are grown using a hydroponicsystem, in water and without soil. It is the last stop on the road to Achduart.
