This is a list of the semi finalists who competed on the reality television series "Australian Idol" since the show's debut in July 2003. The contestants who advanced to the finals are in bold.

* Yolande Jackson - "Stuck" by Stacie OrricoThe following night on the Results Show it was announced that Daniel Wakefield who had joined the Final 12 in the first group had withdrawn from the competition due to prior recording contracts. This meant that three contestants would progress through to the Final 12. The judges choice was Cosima De Vito and the public votes went to Rebekah La Vauney and Levi Kereama. These last three contestants made up the Final 12.
