Amarro

Amarro is a fictional character from the Philippine telefantasya "Etheria" which is a prequel/sequel to the highly rated "Encantadia". Amarro is the father of Aquil. It is said that he will also fall in love with Danaya.

Amarro is played by Filipino actor Alfred Vargas. Vargas previously played the adult Aquil but the character died in the "Encantadia" series. Since the young Aquil in "Etheria" is played by child actor BJ Forbes, GMA Network cast Vargas in Etheria as Amarro, the father of Aquil.

Character Background

Amarro is a half-diwata half-Hathor who fell in love with a diwata and had a son, Aquil. His wife was killed by the Etherians when they were collecting tax. They had no money to pay them. Amarro now takes very good care of Aquil for the fear of losing him like his wife. He hides in Sapiro from the Etherians but they were found when the Etherians were searching for the four Sang'gres. Ybrahim tried to protect them from the Etherians but failed. Their house was burned down.
