Gornji Grad - Medveščak ("Uptown - Medveščak" in Croatian) is one of the districts of Zagreb, Croatia; Gornji Grad translates as Upper Town. It is bordered by four other districts: Donji Grad in the south, Črnomerec in the west, Gornja Dubrava in the east and Podsljeme in the north. The district is located in the central part of the city and, according to the 2001 census, it has 36,384 inhabitants. It includes most of the oldest parts of Zagreb and many of the main sights in Zagreb. The Croatian Parliament and the city's Cathedral are both locate in Gornji grad, as is the popular pedestrian café street Tkalčićeva.

The most important arterial road in Gornji Grad - Medveščak flows between its northern and southern border, starting as Ksaver Road until Gupčeva zvijezda, then changing name to Medveščak and again changing name in the south to Ribnjak and narrowing to three lanes. The whole road makes up for Gornji Grad - Medveščak's tram connection, although the neighborhood is well connected by other forms of mass transit. Gornji Grad - Medveščak is a neighborhood with a large historic value due to it containing both Gornji Grad and Kaptol, the old parts of Zagreb, among other peculiarities, such as touristically frequented first Zagreb cemetery, Mirogoj.
