Hans Schmeisser

Hans Schmeisser is a well-known weapons technical designer in Europe. The son of Louis Schmeisser, who was also a famous weapons technical designer, his notable achievement is his contributions to the construction of the German "weapon city", Suhl.

His work, along with the work of entrepreneurs and engineers like Simson, Sour, and Haenel, helped shape that city for more than a century. With its name development and production of the machine guns of the Bergmann company are closely connected in the time up to First World War.
