Kapucu

Kapucu (/kapuIPA|ʤu/; may also be rendered as "Kapudju"; "Capugiu" in Romanian) designated the official envoy of the Ottoman Sultan in medieval Wallachia and Moldovia. His missions are mostly associated with, but not limited to, the recalling of subject Hospodars (in many cases, followed by their imprisonment or swift execution).
