York University is a proposed station of the Yonge-University-Spadina line of the subway in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to be built on its western branch, the Spadina line. If built, it would be located on the grounds of York University’s main Keele campus, near Ian Macdonald and York Boulevards, and it's expected to open in early 2015. According to the environmental assessment, the main entrance would be located within an expansion of the York Lanes building, which is adjacent to the station site; on the opposite side of the university common, the Schulich School of Business would contain a smaller, automated entrance.

The university’s main buildings lie to the west of the proposed location. Seneca College’s York campus is found to the south, and the Rexall Centre to the west.

The station would be built underground, lying on a northwest-southeast axis. The line will approach from Finch West station along Keele Street, then bend northwestward to meet the station.

The first stage of construction is expected to begin in March 2008.

The Toronto Transit Commission has conducted the environmental assessment (see official link below) for the project to extend the Spadina line north from Downsview through this station to York University, Steeles Avenue, and Vaughan Corporate Centre. The governments of Ontario and Canada have each pledged $670 million of funding for its construction. The City of Toronto and the TTC have indicated their concerns about lacking funding to operate the subway once it is built.
