The NATO E band is the range of radio frequencies from 2 GHz to 3 GHz in the
electromagnetic spectrum . This is equal towave length s between 15 cm and 10 cm. The E band is in the upper UHF range of theradio spectrum . The NATO E band lies in theS band (2—4 GHz) of the older IEEE classification system.The newer designation of "E-Band" lies in the frequency bands from 71 to 76 gigahertz (GHz), 81 to 86 GHz and 92 to 95 GHz. It is being used for short range, high bandwidth communications.
